Megan Telles Biography
Megan Telles is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist currently working as a general assignment reporter for KTLA 5 News since September 2018. Telles reports for KTLA Morning News, the #1-morning show in Los Angeles.
Previously, she spent two years in Sacramento as the morning news anchor starting October 2016. She also served as the News and talk show host for the ABC affiliate, KTNV-TV in Las Vegas. At the same time, Megan worked as the national entertainment correspondent for the syndicated magazine show, Celebrity Page TV.
Her deep passion for breaking news had her after enduring many tornado seasons in Alabama. She vividly remembers being glued to the radio as it reported wind speeds as her family hid for safety in the hallway closet. Telles is a proud graduate of Los Osos High School and the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Telles began her career as a Disney ABC Television Community Entertainment News Intern. Immediately after graduation, she got another internship at CBS2. At the same time, Telles acted as the University of Southern California Talk Show Host. She has also worked as a freelance reporter at Petra Productions’ assistant producer, The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Prior to her service in California’s capital, Telles was a national entertainment correspondent for the syndicated “Celebrity Page TV” based in Las Vegas. In this position, she interviewed celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, and Jennifer Lopez.
She has also worked as a reporter, anchor, and daytime talk-show host at KTNV, the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas. As the host of the Vegas daytime talk show Valley View Liv!, Telles hosted live from the Billboard Music Awards red carpet.
