Hari Sreenivasan Biography
Hari Sreenivasan is a renowned American broadcast journalist, currently working as an anchor, senior correspondent, and director of digital partnerships for PBS NewsHour Weekend.
Sreenivasan went to Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington. While at school, he became a radio disc jockey. In 1995, he received his degree in mass communication, with minors in politics and philosophy, from the University of Puget Sound.
Moreover, while at college, he interned for several TV news stations in Washington State.
Sreenivasan began his career as a reporter for WNCN in 1995 in Raleigh, North Carolina. However, in 1996, he moved to San Francisco, California, leaving WNCN for CNET, where he served as an anchor and a correspondent, especially covering the high-tech sector.
Moreover, in 2004, Sreenivasan was employed at ABC News as an anchor, and correspondent and simultaneously co-hosted the behind-the-scenes podcast ‘ABC News Shuffle’, alongside Jake Tapper.
He worked with ABC for 3 years and 2 months, later on, he joined CBS News in March 2007, serving as a correspondent.

Since joining PBS, Sreenivasan has also participated in several projects. Throughout his career, he has run his own Production Company and freelanced as a reporter for KTVU-TV in Oakland, California. He is also a member of the Asian American Journalists Association and a 2003 graduate of their Executive Leadership Program.
