Jenna Barnes is an American journalist from Virginia Beach, the United States, currently working as a general assignment reporter for WGN News. She joined the station in September 2020.
Before joining WGN-TV, Barnes served for three years reporting and as a fill-in anchor for KSDK in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, she also worked for several years reporting at Spectrum News 1 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and began her career running the station’s Salisbury bureau.
Barnes received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Boston University and her M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
