Before joining NBC4, Hattie spent time anchoring in Virginia and West Virginia. In her career, she has covered numerous local and national breaking news stories and matters close to her heart.
In addition, in 2018, Columbus Professional Firefighters with the IAFF Local 67 recognized Hattie’s efforts with a plaque and nominated her for a national TV award with the IAFF, where she received runner-up. Hawks graduated from Temple University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
