Anthony Domol is an American meteorologist and news presenter currently working at FOX 17 News in Grand Rapids. He is thrilled to be part of the Fox 17 weather team, and you can see him Tuesday thru Saturday on the Fox 17 Morning News.
Domol went to Detroit Catholic Central High School. Later on, he enrolled at Michigan State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Moreover, he went on to Valparaiso University, where he earned a degree in meteorology.
Anthony kicked off his career at KTXA, an ABC affiliate in Abilene, Texas. He served as a morning meteorologist from mid-June 2013 to July 2015. He experienced significant bouts of severe weather, including tornadoes and even a couple of major ice storms while working in Abilene.
After his period in Texas, Domol found his second job in TV closer to home. In mid-August 2015, he took over as morning meteorologist at WFRV, a CBS affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin, until mid-October 2018. He experienced major winter storms, severe weather, and flooding events while working at WFRV. He has lived in the Midwest virtually his whole life but claims he has never seen anything like the blizzard that struck the Green Bay area in April 2018, dropping close to two feet of snow.
Additionally, Domol got out into the community for live interviews previewing upcoming events in Northeast Wisconsin. From mid-October 2018 to early February 2019, Anthony took a freelance position as a morning meteorologist and news anchor in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. During Domol’s free time, he likes lifting weights and running, as well as playing basketball.
