Makenzie O’Keefe is an Emmy award-nominated journalist currently working for KCNC 4 Denver as a news anchor. She began working for CBS 4 Mornings as a multimedia journalist in September 2017. In that capacity, O’Keefe worked extremely hard on and off camera in that capacity, shooting, writing, and editing all of her own work. She switched to a daytime shift in 2019, serving as a one-woman band on the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.
On CBS4 Mornings, O’Keefe may be found anchoring current news segments and breaking traffic reports every morning in-studio. She also anchors CBS4’s 24-hour news streaming service, CBSN Denver, from dawn to midday.
