Tim Wonnacott is an English chartered auctioneer, surveyor, antique, and television host. He rose to fame for his appearance on Bargain Hunt which is a BBC daytime program. He worked in the station from 2003 up to 2015 and has been the narrator of Antique Road Trip. Previously, he was a director of Sotheby’s which is one of the world’s oldest auction houses.
Wonnacott attended West Buckland School in Devon and later enrolled in Victoria and Albert Museum where he took a post-graduate course in fine and decorative arts. This was after he qualified as a chartered auctioneer and surveyor.
Currently, Tim is involved in Antiques Road Trip as a self-presenter where he has been actively engaged. Surprisingly, he is very active on social media where he snaps and tweets about his auctions. Recently, he posted a snap with a guy called Chris and captioned it “On the road again”
