Mosheh Oinounou Biography
Mosheh Oinounou is an American Emmy and Murrow Award-winning Executive Producer. He is the president of both Mo Digital and Mo News. Born and raised in Prairie View, Illinois, United States. Oinoonou attended Stevenson High School.
After graduating from high school, he enrolled at George Washington University where he received a Bachelor’s in Political Communication and a Master’s degree in Security Policy Studies. At school, he worked as the editor-in-chief newspaper and The GW Hatchet.
He began his career as a producer at Fox News Channel before becoming an international editor at Bloomberg TV. While there, he covered major stories such as the ground at the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and several major global economic summits. Prior to joining CBS in 2011, he helped launch CBS This Morning where he worked as a senior producer. Mosheh also received the 2013 Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. He also helped to establish CBSN, CBS’ digital streaming channel where he served as the launch executive producer.

Prior to that, Mosheh made digital history at the network, overseeing the launch of CBSN. As the channel’s first executive producer, he led the hiring and build-out of the editorial and production operation. He also enhanced the broadcast with more field productions & developed an immersive long-form storytelling style. In January 2018, he was promoted to executive producer of the CBS Evening News with Jeff Glor where he oversaw daily operations and news programming. Further, he has been nominated for multiple Emmys and won a Murrow Award.
In May 2019, he announced he was departing CBS News. In the same year, Oinounou founded Mo Digital in NYC as a consulting firm that provides comprehensive solutions for streaming video and audio production, and digital content. In 2020, he launched Mo News—devoted to curating verified and balanced news. Mosheh has quickly built a highly engaged following of nearly 300,000 followers on his @mosheh Instagram page, along with a growing base of 1,500+ paid subscribers. In 2022, he launched the Mo News Newsletter on Bulletin with deep dives into the news as well as the Mo News Podcast, which premiered in the top 10 for all News Podcasts and Top 40 for all podcasts in all categories on the Apple Charts.
