Robert Richard is a renowned American television personality and actor. He is best known for his role as Arnaz Ballard on the UPN sitcom, One on One, and as Bobby Walker on the Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Richard started acting at the age of 16. He started by playing various roles while at Robert Lee High School. His impressive acting won him several awards in his high school, such as Best Supporting Actor, and Most Outstanding Thespian.
After his high school education, Robert joined Lee College, where he appeared in more plays such as Hamlet, and Romeo & Juliet. At the same time, he competed in the IMTA competition. In this competition, he competed in five competitions: monologue (1st place), TV Real People (1st place), Sitcom (1st Place), Entertainment Host (1st Place), and Cold Read (2nd Place). He also got the Young Adult Actor Award of the year.
Richard featured in the Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter. In addition, he featured himself on the hit Nickelodeon game show, Figure It Out. He further played Samuel in the film, Touched By An Angel, a troubled teen whose brother is in prison for shooting a man.

His debut role was in the television cast of Anne Rice’s novel, The Feast of All Saints. In this film, he played the young Marcel who becomes a man within society. This brought him to the acting scenes at the age of 13.
In yet another film, Light It Up, Robert featured alongside R&B star Usher. He has featured on many other hit shows including; Boston Public, Touched by an Angel, CSI: Miami, My Wife and Kids, and The Jamie Foxx Show.
In 2000, he featured in the Disney Channel TV movie Alley Cats Strike, and in the 2006 season of Veronica Mars. In 2001, Robert rose to fame after playing Arnaz Ballard on the UPN hit sitcom, One on One alongside Flex Alexander and Kyla Pratt. This was a very significant role in which he played until 2006.
On November 16, 2011, it was made public that Robert would be cast as Jamie in the TV series, The Vampire Diaries.
