Adam DeVine is an American comedian, actor and screenwriter who rose to fame as a co-creator on a Comedy Central TV show called Workaholics. He even gained more fame for playing Andy Bailey’s recurring role on Modern Family. Adam’s fame also grew after he played the lead role in his own movie called Adam DeVine’s House Party. Adam’s other famous roles are in Pitch Perfect 1 &2, When We First Met, Game Over Man ! and The Lego Batman Movie.

DeVine was born in Waterloo, Iowa but grew up in Omaha, Nebraska after his family decided to move out of Iowa He grew up as the only child in his family. Adam attended Millard South High School and graduated in 2002. He then enrolled at the Orange Coast College and earned his major in theatre arts. Adam also suffered a tragic accident when he was around 11 years old while cycling in Omaha. He recovered from his injury but Adam still has some emotional and physical scars from the accident.

DeVine began his acting career by moving to Los Angeles, California. He began as a stand-up comedian who performed in comedy clubs while playing minor supporting roles on TV. Adam waited patiently for three huge cement trucks to pass by. However, he was suddenly struck by the fourth truck that was blocked by the opposite traffic.

Adam was knocked unconscious and suffered an acute shock that put him in a coma.b He broke his legs severely and collapsed a lung which developed multiple infections. Therefore, Adam had to undergo 26 surgeries and spent years of his life in a wheelchair.
