Alan Sealls is an American thirteen-time Emmy Award-Winning Chief Meteorologist currently working at NBC15 WPMI-TV, Mobile, Alabama. He is also an educator at the University of South Alabama. Before, he worked as a Chief meteorologist at WKRG-TV, Alabama for 20 years.
He went to Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology. At Florida State University, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Meteorology.
Alan started his career as a broadcaster at WALB-TV in Albany, Georgia. For five years he has also worked at Chicago’s WGN-TV. He also worked at WTMJ-TV & Radio, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1988-1992). Sealls have also created over four dozen weather videos for schools distributed in North America.
Sealls have professional certifications from the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA). He is currently the counselor for the AMS and NWA.
