Allison Chinchar is an American meteorologist who is currently serving at CNN and HLN. She makes regular appearances on CNN’s ‘New Day Weekend,’ CNN International programs, and HLN’s ‘Weekend Express.’
Additionally, She is famous in the broadcasting industry and her marriage to Mike Bettes, who is also a meteorologist and Storm chaser.
She worked as a meteorologist at local stations in Atlanta, Nashville, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, before joining CNN in June 2015. She has covered everything from hurricanes, blizzards, flooding events, and wildfires, receiving an Emmy nomination for her coverage of Hurricane Dorian that hit the Bahamas in 2019.
