Britt Robertson is a renowned American actress best known for her lead role in The First Time (2012) and has appeared in the films Tommorowland (2015), The Space Between Us (2017), A Dog’s Purpose (2017), and I Still Believe (2020). She has been in the game since she was 14 years old and she is still pushing her career to a greater height.
Robertson was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. When she was 14 years old, she relocated to Los Angeles to audition for TV pilots. She was accompanied by her grandmother Shuler Robertson. Britt has been living on her own since her grandmother returned to North Carolina when she was 16 years old. However, they remain close.
Her first television appearance was when she performed various roles on stage at the Greenville Little Theatre in her hometown. At the age of 12, Robertson started making extended trips to Los Angeles to audition for roles in television series. Britt then made her big-screen debut in The Last Summer, a drama film that was released on April 16, 2004. Since her recognition, Britt has gone on to feature in numerous films and television shows, earning over 50 acting credits.
Currently, Britt is mainly known for her appearance in The Secret Circle, Keeping Up With the Steins, Dan in Real Life, The Longest Ride, and Tomorrowland. She was also cast as the lead in the Netflix series Girlboss and in ABC’s legal series For the People as Sandra Bell. In 2019, she appeared in the biopic, I Still Believe.
In January 2021, Robertson was added to the cast of the ABC drama Big Sky as a recurring character Cheyenne Kleinsasser. She was also cast in The Re-Education of Molly Singer as the main character of the film.
