She was so emotional that she wrote in her blog about the significant day and all it meant to get married in front of her family and friends.
“We got married at The Islander, A Guy Harvey Outpost in Islamorada, Florida,” she wrote. “Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Although, Carissa was a little too generous with the wind. My poor bridesmaids had to hold their skirts as they walked down the long sandy beach aisle. And, my veil was blowing out of control. But hey, I’ll take wind over rain and heavy humidity any day!”

Mrs. Culiner began her broadcasting career on the country radio show, Scotty & Carissa, in the Morning as a radio co-host. This was a show aired on the award-winning station, Clear 99 (KCLR-FM) in Columbia, Missouri. The morning show duo, Scotty & Carissa won several awards including the CMA Small Market Personality of the Year and the NAB Marconi Radio Award for Small Market Personality of the Year.
At the same time, Carissa also served as the station TV Personality for Columbia’s FOX affiliate, KQFX. On-camera hosting became her major focus when she became an anchor and managing editor for the online news company, Newsy in 2012. At Newsy, Carissa was tasked to manage the company’s partnership with AOL, specifically focusing on AOL’s “Morning Rush” and “TV Replay” series. She also broadcasted for other companies that partnered with Newsy like TIME Magazine and About.com.
Carissa left Newsy and joined E! News in 2015 after discovering that her interests were primarily focusing on the camera. She became a correspondent for E! News and its digital series, E! News Now. She has now grown to a co-host on the E! News: Daily Pop alongside other hosts like Justin Sylvester, and Morgan Stewart.
