Carole Radziwill Biography
Carole Radziwill is an American journalist and reality TV personality known for appearing as a main cast on Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY). She has appeared on RHONY’s first ten seasons since her first apperance in 2011. Carole joined the cast of RHONY after retiring from her two-decade-long career run on ABC News. She won three Emmy Awards and a Peabody award for producing and reporting various news stories like the 1991 SCUD missile attacks during the Gulf War. Carole even produced ABC’s other news programs like the Profiles from the Frontline segment.
Radziwill was born and raised by a working-class Native American family living in Suffern, New York. She grew up as a very introverted young girl who never liked associating with strangers. Carole finished her high school education at a private academy located on the outskirts of Suffern. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hunter College. Radziwll then received her Master of Business Administration from New York University.
Carole began her career on ABC News by working as an intern based in New York back in 1985. She mainly handled the post-production works for the 20/20 news pilot news magazine segment on the station. From there, Carole began working as a production assistant for another ABC news show called Close Up. She even got the opportunity to work with Petter Jennings on his documentary based on abortion, gun control and covering foreign policy stories for countries like India, Haiti and Cambodia.
In 1991, she was stationed by ABC to cover the different Iraq wars and spent weeks documenting the Gulf War the same year. The following year Radziwilli began producing Profiles from the FRontline which won her three Emmys for the best news coverage and a GLAAD award. IN 2011, Carole joined the cast of Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of New York City after retiring from her career as a broadcast journalist. She joined the show to showcase her life as a successful housewife and also narrate the kind of things she experienced as a journalist for ABC News. Carole left ROHNY in 2018 to go back to journalism.
