Charlie Moore is a renowned American television sports personality who currently hosts the Charlie Moore Outdoors on the New England Sports Network and the No Offense show. Previously, he hosted ESPN’s Beat Charlie Moore from 2004 to 2010, a show which was the sports network’s top-rated outdoor show.
Charlie is also known for his high-energy and humorous hosting style. He is the recipient of thirteen New England Emmy Awards for his work on Charlie Moore Outdoors, Behind the B, Bruins Academy, and New England Traveler. Moore is a member of the New England Sports Hall of Fame.
In 2007, Charlie was one of three celebrity sportsman anglers featured in the Sports Museum of New England’s exhibition “Gone Fishing” The Boston Sportsman.” In the same year, New England’s Brigham’s Ice Cream introduced a new flavor, “Mad Fish Mud,” with proceeds benefiting HIV/AIDS programs at Children’s Hospital Boston.
