Claudine Ewing Biography
Claudine Ewing is a renowned American Reporter and fill-in-Anchor currently working at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York. Ewing began her professional career immediately after graduating from Buffalo State College. She started her career in radio news covering Western New York and Southern Ontario as a reporter and later moved on to be the Afternoon-drive News Anchor.
Ewing received a degree in Broadcast Journalism with Honors. Additionally, in 2004, she received the Young Alumnus Achievement Award from her college alma mater. Tom McCray was one of her favorite teachers. She earned her degree from SUNY Buffalo State College in 1992, after being accepted in Syracuse, Marquette, the state of Michigan, and in the State of Fredonia.
Ewing served as an afternoon anchor in the Radio News covering Western New York and Southern Ontario. Since she began her career, Ewing has won several awards and has been nominated and recognized for her work in Journalism.

Ewing has also earned numerous awards from the Associated Press for special news series and breaking news. She has been a nominee for New York State Emmy Awards.
Some memorable stories covered by Claudine include: disclosing to the world that there was a female limbo performer worthy of the Guinness Record. The story helped make a young girl’s dream come to reality. She also reported on a family’s aim to have tougher state penalties for repeat child abusers. She also followed the case to Albany and now there is Jay-J’s law, named after an abused child.
Additionally, in 1999, Ewing’s alma mater, Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, honored her with their annual Excellence in Broadcasting Award. In 2004, she was awarded Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s “Outstanding Community Service Award”.
