Morris is an American political consultant, author, commentator, and strategist. He is best known for serving as a campaign manager and adviser to President Bill Clinton. Dick helped Bill Clinton to a striking comeback re-election victory in 1996.
Morris went to school at Stuyvesant High School and graduated in 1964. Then he joined Columbia University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967. Dick began serving as a political adviser to the White House after Clinton was elected president in 1992.
Dick also encouraged Bill Clinton to pursue third-way policies of triangulation. It combined traditional Republican and Democratic proposals, rhetoric, and issues that helped achieve maximum political gain and popularity.
