Later, he joined Belin Rawlings & Badal and worked as a Special Counsel. He then became a partner of the Los Angeles-based law firm in 2000. For six years, he was a managing partner at Whitwell Jacoby Emhoff in Beverly Hills. Later, he joined Venable LLP where he was a Managing Director on the West Coast and took charge of their branches in Las Angeles and San Francisco.
