Dylan Marie Dreyer is an American television meteorologist working for NBC News. She is also an anchor on Today’s 3rd Hour. Dylan is an actress, known for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (1939), Fate of a Sport (2022), and Diving in with Dylan (2021).
Dreyer was born and raised in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. She attended Manalapan High School, where she played softball, and graduated in 1999. She enrolled at Rutgers University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology in 2003. While in college, Dreyer interned at WeatherWorks, a private consulting company in Hackettstown.
Dylan has worked for many companies since she started her work as a meteorologist such as WICU, WJAR, and WHDH. During her professional career, she encounter an incident where she was in a car accident and suffered a slight brain injury. Dreyer joined NBC News in September 2012. Currently, she works as a weather reporter and a stand-in for Al Roker and Carson Daly. She also appears on NBC Nightly News and The Weather Channel. Additionally, she anchors Today’s Third Hour.
