Enrique Acevedo Biography
Enrique Acevedo is an American journalist currently working as a correspondent for the new 60 Minutes program 60 Minutes Plus on CBS News. Currently, he is the anchor of the award-winning Noticiero Univision late-night edition and a special correspondent for FUSION. He is the first Latino correspondent to work in the 53-year history of 60 Minutes.
At CBS, Acevedo has reported on a variety of topics including the 2020 Presidential Elections, the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the violence against journalists in Mexico.
An Emmy Award-Winning journalist, Enrique has reported major news stories from around the world in English and Spanish for print, broadcast, and online media.
