A Chicago native, Hall is a proud alumnus of Whitney Young Magnet High School. She attended Syracuse University where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude a double major in Broadcast Journalism and African American Studies.
Hall started her career in television as the morning news anchor and producer at WMGT in Macon, Georgia. In April 2006, she returned to Chicago as an anchor and reporter for WGN-TV’s sister station CLTV.
