James Denton is an American TV and film actor who, before trying his luck in Hollywood, won raves for Chicago’s stage work. In the “Desperate Housewives” TV series, he is famous for his role as Mike Delfino.

In his distinguished career as an actor, he was part of television series including Nice Witch, Devious Maids, Philly, and so on. Additionally, in a Comedy Series, James won the Screen Actors Guild award for Desperate Housewives.

Denton graduated from Goodlettsville High School with regard to his education. He later attended the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Television/journalism was his main subject and he earned a degree in Advertising.

In 2008, James won the Prism Awards for Comedy Series Success. In “Desperate Housewives” he was nominated for his best role. He was also chosen for the Screen Actors Guild Awards that year. Denton portrays Dr. Sam Radford in the role of the “Good Witch.”
