Jillian Angeline Biography
Jillian Angeline is an American journalist currently working as a multimedia journalist at the Gray Television Washington News Bureau, 13ABC. She joined the station in January 2019.
Angeline is a proud University of Southern California alumnus. She graduated from the University with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast and Digital Journalism and minored in Economics and Forensics.
Angeline joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in January 2019, first working as a multimedia journalist. Recently, she served as a multimedia journalist at Military Times in Washington. At the station, she covered the United States Armed Forces, including a ground-breaking federal court trial where injured veterans and Gold Star families sued Iran for their role in the manufacturing and supplying sophisticated IEDs, killing U.S. service members.
While she enjoys covering military news, Angeline is always ready to take on the world of Washington politics and bring hyper-local issues to Gray Television viewers across the country.
Jillian was only 7 years when she started her broadcast career. Her first story was an interview with local firefighters for Fire Prevention Month. During the interview, the firefighters received a call, suited up, and rushed to a fire call. In addition, this is the experience that ignited her passion for journalism.

Angeline’s new experience goes beyond the country, reaching other continents. In 2013, she hopped on a plane and traveled 8,000 miles for an anchoring and reporting gig on the island of Saipan in the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. she also anchored the nightly news and reported during the day and night, depending on the news throughout Micronesia. Moreover, Jillian became a PADI-certified scuba diver on Saipan, exploring the clear oceans of the Marianas.
Angeline is from New Jersey and loves traveling. In 2016, she completed a three weeks assignment as a reporter covering the first female World Cup in the Middle East – the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Amman, Jordan. This coverage included a visit to the Al Za’atari Syrian Refugee Camp. She then moved to Central Texas, covering the United States Army at Fort Hood.
