Jocelyn Maminta is an Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist from the United States. She is most recognized for her work as a medical reporter for WTNH/News 8 and as a co-anchor for Good Morning CT at 9. She is also the founder of Caroline’s Room, a safe sanctuary for families dealing with the hardships and uncertainty that come with having a premature baby.
Caroline’s Rooms can be found in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia, and Texas, among other places in the United States. Caroline’s Room was first established at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, and the second at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
Maminta also serves on the Board of Friends of Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, and the Arts Council of Greater New Haven. In addition, she is also a member of the Junior League of Greater New Haven.
In her broadcast career, Jocelyn has anchored and reported for various television stations in North Carolina, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Texas, and News 8 in Connecticut. Jocelyn works tirelessly for numerous non-profit organizations across Connecticut. For this, she has been honored several times.
