Joe Rogan Biography
Joe Rogan is an American comedian, podcast host, mixed martial arts, and UFC color commentator. He has also tried acting and a career on Television as a host. Joe began his career in comedy in August 1988 in Boston. Later on, he relocated to Los Angeles in 1994, signing an exclusive developmental deal with Disney. He also featured in several television shows including Hardball and NewsRadio.
In 1997, Rogan started working for the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a color commentator and interviewer. He made his first comedy special release in 2000. After becoming the host of Fear Factor in 2001, Joe put his comedy career on hold later resuming after the show ended in 2006.
In 2009, he launched his podcast show; The Joe Rogan Experience, a show that rose him to stardom. The same year, Rogan hosted a short-lived CBS show Game Show in My Head that only aired for eight episodes. This show was produced by Ashton Kutcher.

In 2010, he was accused of content plagiarism and thievery by comedian Dane Cook. A year later, he resumed his role as the Fear Factor host for its seventh and final season until 2012. He also played his first major film role, Gale, in the Comedy film Zookeeper. In 2012, he played himself in Here Comes the Boom, an action-comedy film featuring Kelvin James.
As of December 2009, Rogan launched a free podcast with his friend and fellow comedian, Brian Redban. By August, the podcast had its name The Joe Rogan Experience, getting in the list of Top 100 podcasts on iTunes. In 20111, it was picked up by SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
On May 19, 2020, Joe announced that he had signed a mega-year licensing deal with Spotify, a $100 million deal. This will enable The Joe Rogan Experience available on Spotify starting from September 1, 2020, and from January 2021, exclusive on the platform.
