Jordan Fisher Biography
Jordan Fisher is an American actor, singer, dancer, gamer, and musician who first attracted prominence for his roles in a number of films and television programs. Fisher’s career began with recurring parts on a number of television shows, including Liv and Maddie from 2015 to 2017 and The Secret Life of the American Teenager in 2012. Additionally, he appeared in supporting roles in the television movies Teen Beach Movie (2013), Teen Beach 2 (2015), Grease Live (2016), and Rent: Live (2017).
Jordan and his dancing partner, Lindsay Arnold won the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2017. Later, in 2018, he served as host of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, and he offered commentary at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup. Hollywood Records released his self-titled EP as a singer in 2016.
Through 2016 and 2017, Fisher played John Laurens/Philip Hamilton on Broadway; in 2020, she took on the title role of Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen. Additionally, he starred in the 2020 Netflix movies Work It and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. In She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Fisher played the role of Sea Hawk, which earned him some notoriety.
Fisher started participating in gymnastics when she was two years old. In the fifth grade, after being chosen for a school production of School House Rock, Jr., he developed an interest in musical theater. Fisher attended Harvest Christian Academy and was homeschooled throughout his elementary and high school years. His first tune for the label, “Counterfeit,” was released on February 1st, 2016. On April 15, 2016, Fisher’s debut single, “All About Us,” was made available. Warren “Oak” Felder of Pop & Oak produced it. The music video for the song, which TK McKamy created, debuted on Vibe.com on May 11, 2016. “All About Us” was the second-most added song on pop radio stations for the week ending June 13, 2016. Fisher’s first television roles were in 2009 as a guest star on The Hustler on Crackle and iCarly on Nickelodeon. His first major role was as Grace Bowman’s half-brother Jacob in seasons 4 and 5 of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. He portrayed the recurring character Holden Dippledorf on Liv and Maddie on the Disney Channel starting in 2015 and has also appeared in The Thundermans and Teen Wolf.
He played the surfer gang leader Seacat in the cable TV movies Teen Beach Movie (2013) and Teen Beach 2 (2015).
