Justin Pazera is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist who is currently working as a reporter and anchor at ABC15. He joined the station in 2015 as a general assignment reporter. Currently, he anchors the weekend evening newscasts.
With close to 20 years of experience, he has covered a wide variety of stores. He has covered presidential campaigns and natural disasters, and sit-down interviews with some of the most influential figures in politics. In 2018, he served as ABC15’s lead reporter on the high-profile US Senate race in Arizona. He also took part in the station’s extensive reporting on the Hacienda Healthcare controversy.
Before moving to Arizona, he was an anchor and reporter at a CBS affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska. While there, he broke several big stories. One of the stories led to the termination of four Omaha police officers caught on camera using excessive force.
Most notably, he began his career as an anchor and reporter in Rapid City, South Dakota. His stories took him across the state and landed him on Mount Rushmore’s top. In addition, he received an Emmy Award for his story exposing extremely high suicide rates among children and youth.
