Kara Sundlun is an American Two-Emmy award-winning journalist currently working as the host and anchor for WFSB-TV, Channel 3 Eyewitness News, Karaa CBS affiliate in Hartford, Connecticut since 2000. She also works as co-anchor/ co-host of Better Connecticut with Scot Haney at 3 p.m. Before joining the station, Kara served as a narrator for World War Two Foundation for 5 years and 10 months. She is also a contributor to the Huffington Post.

Sullum attended the University of Michigan graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications. She began her journalism career at WPRI-TV, a dual CBS and MyNetwork affiliate in Providence, Rhode Island. Kara also worked in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and at the Washington Bureau of the White House and CNN as an intern. Kara is also an author writing the book titled Finding Dad: From “Love Child” to Daughter released on November 11th, 2014 on Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, Goodreads, and Google Books.
