Kitty Flanagan is an Australian comedian, writer, and actress who works in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has won numerous awards including the AACTA Award for Best Comedy Performer in 2021 and the TV Week Silver Logie Award for Most Popular Actress in 2022 for her performance in Fisk. She is known for her work in the sketch comedy TV series Full Frontal and talk show TV panel program The Project.

Born and raised in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She attended and graduated high school at Monte Sant’Angelo Mercy College in North Sydney. Kitty became interested in comedy at the age of 5 years and appeared in a school musical production of Alice In Wonderland. She made her comedy television debut as a writer/performer on the popular Australian sketch comedy show Full Frontal. She has also written for and appeared in The Micallef Programme and The Fifty Foot Show. Since then, Flanagan has appeared in several TV shows like The Project, Rove Live, Have You Been Paying Attention? and Utopia.

In 2001, Kitty went to the UK to further her comedy career and do more stand-up. While there, she performed on television in The Sketch Show and appeared in numerous stand-ups on The World Stands Up for Comedy Central. She produced a short film, Dating Ray Fenwick, in which she starred in a small role. Before that, Flanagan also wrote for various shows on the BBC, Channel Four, and Sky Television. She sponsored the Best Narrative Award at the 2015 Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival in Gympie and was one of the judges for the film scripts in that category. Furthermore, Kitty released her book titled Bridge Burning and Other Hobbies in 2018. That year, she presented a sketch in her book called 488 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Idiots.
