Laura Jarrett is an American journalist and litigation attorney best known for being CNN’s political reporter famously known as the daughter of Valerie Jarrett. Valerie Jarrett is a former government official, who served as the senior advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama.
Jarrett attended high school at her hometown’s Chicago Laboratory College. Later, for further study, she moved to Cambridge. She entered Harvard Law School and graduated in 2010 with a Juris Doctor degree. In law school, she was a brilliant student, recognized particularly for her original writings focused on gender, crime, and rights. In addition, she also worked for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender as the technical editor and article editor.
As soon as Laura graduated, she worked as a judicial clerk for the District Judge for Northern Illinois, Distinguished Rebecca R. Pallmeyer. After that, she also got an opportunity to work for Honorable Ann C. Williams, the then United States Circuit Judge of U.S. Court Appeal for the Seventh Circuit.
