Laura Kuenssberg is a British journalist who succeeded Nick Robinson as a political editor at the BBC in July 2015 and was also the first woman to hold the position. Unfortunately, she stepped down on 6th May 2022 after reporting on the United Kingdom local elections 2022. Previously, she worked as the BBC’s Chief political correspondent and the first business editor of ITV News. Currently, she is the Chief Correspondent and presenter for BBC Newsnight.
