Lannan Neville Eacott, popularly known by his online alias LazarBeam, is an Australian YouTuber, professional gamer, and Internet personality, who is well known for his video game commentaries videos, “comedic riffs” and memes.
Eacott started making slow-motion demolition videos back in 2014 while working in his family’s construction business. After his equipment was stolen, he registered his current YouTube channel in 2015, Eacott posted Let’s Play and challenge videos of several video games.

In April 2019, LazarBeam’s channel had 10 million subscribers, becoming the second Australian gaming content creator to hit that breakthrough. By July 2019, Lannan was the third-most-subscribed YouTube Fortnite streamer, with over 10.8 million subscribers and more than 7 billion video views.
Eacott, along with some other streamers, was analytical of the tenth season of Fortnite Battle Royale, which premiered in August 2019 and introduced the “B.R.U.T.E”—a mechanical suit with missile launchers and a giant shotgun. The addition was termed as “overpowered and unbalanced”.
Due to this, Lannna’s production of Minecraft-related videos started to increase, although he welcomed an update that narrowed the capabilities of the mechanical suit. After the release of the game’s second chapter in October of 2019, the aim of Eacott’s videos further shifted away from Fortnite; he was disappointed with the update’s lack of content.
Moreover, in October 2019, it was announced that Lannan would stare as himself in the 2021 film Free Guy, alongside streamers Jacksepticeye and Ninja. Similarly, on January 13, 2020, it was announced that Lannan, along with fellow Australian YouTuber Elliott “Muselk” Watkins, had signed a deal with YouTube to stream exclusively on that platform; he initially streamed on Twitch.
The two YouTubers celebrated the announcement by undertaking a 12-hour live stream to raise money for the ongoing Australian bushfire relief effort and raised A$100,000. Moreover, early that month, Lannan, Watkins, and the other members of Click, did a 36-hour charity stream for the bushfire relief efforts and raised more than A$300,000. Eacott has collaborated with Rooster Teeth and is represented by Click Management and WME.
In June of 2020, during Fortnite’s season-ending live event “The Device”, Lanna’s stream received over 900,000 concurrent viewers. The next month, Click announced they would “stop filming [group] videos for the expected future” with the members wanting to “spend time working on [their] own content”.
In December, Eacott was listed as the ninth top content creator of 2020 by YouTube. Also, the sixth-most-viewed gaming creator of the year and one of the top live streamers by views of 2020.
Additionally, in March of 2021, Lannan received his own Fortnite skin in the game as part of the Fortnite Icon Series.
