Leslie Marshall is an American journalist and television host who currently serves as a liberal radio talk host since 1988. Marshall is also a commentator on national television since 2001. She became the youngest syndicated radio show host after replacing Tom Snyder on the ABC Satelite Radio Network in 1992. In addition, she is the first woman to host an object-oriented program nationwide.

Leslie hosts the nationally syndicated The Leslie Marshall Show while still serving as a Fox News contributor and blogs weekly for U.S. News & World Report as well as POLITICO. She has been a radio talk hostess for 23 years and she currently hosting a syndicated show hosted by TalkUSA Radio.

Marshall began her broadcasting career as a radio news reporter in Boston. She then moved to Miami, Florida to work in both radio and television. While in Miami, Leslie did news, traffic, weather, and disc jockey work. One night when hosting an overnight nostalgic music program, Leslie did a special “Remembrance” hour in which veterans called in with their experiences.

After many years of anchoring, reporting, and hosting music programs, Leslie moved to talk radio. She started off her radio talk career at WNWS in Miami where she worked for three years. She followed with mid-day shows at WGR in Buffalo, then Mid-days at KPRC in Houston. In 1992, she replaced Tom Snyder on the ABCSatelite Radio Network. Her program ran for three years on over 200 stations nationwide.

However, The network disbanded after three years, and Marshall moved to Chicago to take a new job at WLS-FM hosting an afternoon drive talk show. Her next move saw her join KGO Radio in San Francisco and hosted a midday show on KHTK in Sacramento. On television, Leslie hosted “Bay Talk” on KRON-TV, the local NBC affiliate in the city by the bay.

Two years later, Leslie returned to Chicago at WLS and co-hosted “Beyond the Beltway” on WGR-TV and remained in Chicago for over two years. She then joined her husband in Los Angeles. Moreover, she hosted talk shows on KFI, KLSX, and KABC radio on weekends, and was finally signed to KLAC.

After KLAC flipped to music, Leslie hosted her own show for a year on WWKB in Buffalo, New York, a 50,000-watt powerhouse heard throughout the northeastern United States and Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. After her stint at WWKB, Leslie was nationally syndicated and her show airs every weeknight on WWKB.
