Mark Zinni Biography
Mark Zinni is an American Emmy and Associated Press award-winning journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter for WFSB. Prior to WFSB, he worked at Channel 3 of FOX 8 News in Cleveland, where he was an anchor and reporter for five years. Additionally, he worked at WPRI in Providence, Rhode Island for about seven years as an anchor and reporter.
Mark attended and graduated from Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School in 1994. He later joined St. Bonaventure University near Buffalo, New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in 1998.
Mark started his career in 1995 as an intern at WWKYC in Cleveland. He later worked as an intern at NBC’s Today Show in New York. In 1997, he got his first job as a reporter and producer at WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania. Later on, Mike worked as an anchor and reporter at WTOV in Steubenville, OH.

In 2014, Mark joined the Channel 3 WFSB team. Previously, he worked as a reporter for FOX 3 News. He is a regular at Eyewitness News at 5.20 pm on weekends as well as at 11 pm. Mark shares the set of Channel 3 with Eric Connolly.
Zinni previously worked at KTVX in Cleveland. He worked for more than six years at WPRI in Providence, Rhode Island, where he was the weekday morning news anchor and a general assignment reporter.
