Megan Stalter is an American actress and comedian who is the host of the webseries The Negan Stalter Show and Forever Dog podcast Confronting Demons with Megan Stalter. In her videos, she specializes in desperate, deluded characters who are prone to theatricality, frequent mispronunciations, and botched suicide attempts.
Born in Cleveland, she moved around with her family and lived in Dayton, Huber Heights, and Centerville, Ohio. Stalter also grew up in the Pentecostal Church. She attended Wayne High School and was part of the drama club. Later after graduating from high school, she attended Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. However, she never complete University. She left to try acting.
She began doing sketch and improvisational comedy in Dayton and later moved to Chicago to do comedy full-time. In 2019, she moved to New York and got a manager. She was declared by critic Joson Zinoman as “sketch comedy’s newest star” in 2020. Megan is the voice of Bonnie Davis in Tooning Out the News and plays Kayla in Hacks.
