Morgan Wolfe is an American Murrow and Emmy-Award-winning journalist currently working as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KSL5-TV in Salt Lake City since June 2020. She works in front and behind the camera as she shoots, writes, and edits her own work. Previously, Morgan worked as an anchor at WMTV NBC15 and MMJ for four years.
Morgan attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Journalism. In 2014, she went to London to further her studies and interned at a media production company.
Wolfe is a very passionate journalist with a special focus on ending hunger in the USA and she is a very active member of Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin’s NRSSH group. During her time in college, Morgan was an active member of Pi Beta Phi and also the University of Minnesota’s Society of Professional Journalists.
Morgan has been recognized with two Edward R. Murrow Regional Awards for Excellence in Writing. In addition, his photography skills won her an Eric Sevareid Award, Wisconsin Broadcast Awards, half a dozen Emmy nominations, and accolades with the National Press Photographers Association.
