Mr. G Weatherman is a renowned American meteorologist currently working for WPIX’s weatherman at 5, 6, and 10. In addition, he was a teacher and he also created New York City school system’s first computerized weather program for use by children as well as their teachers. Later on, he retired and became a WCBS-TV News reporter in 1997.
Mr. G was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, he went to P.S. 201 and J.H.S. 218. Later on, he graduated from Francis Lewis High School and joined Hofstra University in Long Island. During his free time, Mr. G can regularly be seen running in Central Park and has run 34 New York City Marathons. He is an avid runner, and has run over 75,000 miles — or three times around the globe. He is also part of a unique group of runners to accomplish that feat.
