Natalie Morales is an American journalist best known as the anchor of Today Show West Coast on NBC News. Moreover, she appears on other programs like Dateline NBC and NBC Nightly News.
Morales went to school at Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, Delaware, and graduated in 1990. She then went to Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Natalie majored in Journalism and Media Studies as well as Latin American studies. In addition, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude.
Before her journalism career, Natalie worked at Chase Bank in New York. Her journalism career started at WVIT-TV in Connecticut where she worked as a weekend anchor and morning co-anchor. Morales worked as an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC from 2002 to 2006.
In 2006, Natalie joined the Today show as a correspondent. She became a co-anchor of the third hour of the show in March 2008. It was later announced that she would replace Ann Curry as the news anchor for ‘Today’ on May 9, 2011. It was announced that Natalie would be moving west to host Access and become the Today Show West Anchor in 2016.
