Nick Toma is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and anchor at WBRE. Toma joined WBRE in June 2016. Prior to this, he served as a reporter and anchor at WQRF in Rockford, Illinois.
He began his career in print journalism in 1988 working as a feature writer and movie critic for a popular daily newspaper near his hometown. Most notably, his first job was as a reporter and weekend anchor for the CBS affiliate in Watertown.
Later on, he moved across the country to Anchorage, Alaska where he got a position as a reporter and anchor. He got his first-morning show experience in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1993. When off his duties he spends time outdoors comfortably on a ski slope or playing double tennis.
