Patricia DiMango is an American reality television personality and a retired judge of the Supreme Court of Kings County. DiMango currently stars as one of three judges, along with Judge Michael Corriero, Judge Tanya Acker, and courtroom bailiff Sonia Montejano, on the panel-based reality court show Hot Bench, which premiered in September of 2014.
Previously, DiMango worked for the government as an appointed Judge of the Criminal Court of the City in New York.
Patricia went to Brooklyn College in New York where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Later on, she joined Columbia University Teachers College where she earned her Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology. She attained her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
DiMango also worked as a college lecturer and a teacher in a public school in New York City for a short time. In 1995, Mayor Rudolf Giuliani appointed her as a Judge of the Criminal Court of New York after she graduated from St. John’s University School of Law. She was also appointed as the Acting Justice of the State Supreme Court for the 2nd Judicial District after three years on the bench. Nevertheless, DiMango was elected Judge of the Supreme Court of Kings County, NY, in 2002.
