Reynolds Scott Wolf is an American meteorologist and journalist currently working at The Weather Channel. Reynold also appeared as a host of AMHQ Weekend. Previously, Wolf served as a weather correspondent and reporter for CNN programs. In addition, he has won Edward R. Murrow Award-winning coverage during Florida’s worst hurricane season in history.
Wolf was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Jemison, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in Alabama and also holds a certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. In addition, Wolf is a member of the American Meteorology Society and the National Weather Association. He began his weather career at WJSU-TV in Anniston, Alabama. Prior to working at WJSU, Wolf worked for many television stations across the United States, including WDIV in Detroit; KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas; and KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
While working at KMOV in St. Louis, where he served as the CBS affiliate’s 6 pm Meteorologist. He served as the morning meteorologist for WKMG in Orlando, Florida where he helped his station to win the Edward R. Murrow Award-winning coverage during Florida’s worst hurricane season in history. Moreover, Reynolds joined CNN in 2006 where he spent six years as a studio meteorologist and field correspondent.
At CNN, he worked as a forecasting, host and one of the creators of “Trip On A Tank;” a great travel series proving to be edgy, witty, and a blast, with producers and crew right along Reynolds. On the other hand, Wolf is also a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association, as well as the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
