Ryan Haidet is an American journalist who is currently working as the Executive Digital Producer at WKYC studios in Cleveland, Ohio, the United States of America. Haidet specializes in digital content and social media. He joined the station in April 2011 as a member of the Metromix entertainment team before he was absorbed into the news division.
Since then, he has been promoted a couple of times for his work with the WKYC morning team. He was named the station’s first-ever executive producer of digital content in 2017. In addition, his work has earned him two Emmy wins and nine total nominations.
Talk about his education, he attended and graduated from Springfield High School in 2002. Later on, he attended Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. He spent four years at Rubber City Group in Akron as an on-air contributor with 94.9 WQMX.
