Sadie Sink is an American actress who had her breakthrough portraying Max Mayfield in Stranger Things (2017-present). She began her acting career when she was seven in a local theatre production, and played the title role in Annie. Most notably, she made her television debut in 2013 in an episode of The Americans.
In 2015, she played Suzanne Ballard in American Odyssey and portrayed a young Queen Elizabeth II in The Audience. Sink attended school while appearing in small roles in television and film such as Kimberly in Chuck, among other roles. In 2018, Sink collaborated with other stars such as Rooney Mara, Sai, among others to narrate the animal rights Australian documentary film Dominion.
In 2021, she played Ziggy Berman in The Fear Street Trilogy, and in 2022, she played the lead role as Tess DeNunzio in Dear Zoe. Her performance in the fourth season of Stranger Things received international acclaim. She is scheduled to feature in the film Berlin Nobody, an adaptation of Nicholas Hogg’s 2015 novel Tokyo.
