Sanika Bhargaw is an American journalist currently working at WMTV, NBC 15, Madison, Wisconsin as a reporter and multimedia journalist. Bhargaw joined the NBC 15 team in September 2018. Since then, she has enjoyed meeting people and covering stories across Southern Wisconsin, particularly in 2020. She covered the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the 2020 presidential election, as well as protests and unrest following the death of George Floyd. Sanika’swork on covering those protests earned her together with her teammates two Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award for the morning newscast following the first night of unrest.
