Sara Orlesky is a Canadian sportscaster and the Winnipeg Bureau Reporter for TSN‘s SportsCenter. She graduated from Shaftesbury High School in Winnipeg before starting her career in January 2008 at TSN as a reporter for the Toronto bureau, filing reports on major sports stories in the Greater Toronto Area.
Orlesky graduated from Shaftesbury High School and attended Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. During her university time, she was interned at City TV, Vancouver, as their weekend sports anchor and producer.
Orlesky began her career as a sports reporter for The Score in Vancouver and was subsequently hired by the TSN in November 2007. She was, however, signed with the Network as their sports reporter in Toronto in January 2008. While reporting for The Score, she lived in British Columbia and was promoted to the weekend sports anchor, she left The Score in 2004.
Sara also covered the 2010 Winter Olympics, and figure skating, and later became the lead reporter of the network, after opening TSN’s Winnipeg Bearue. She took part in the IIHF World Junior Championship and IFnla Stanley Cup and hosted the 100th National Skating Championships for Canadian Tire.
