Shauna Parsons KPTV FOX 12, Oregon

Parsons is currently serving as an anchor of the Emmy award-winning Good Day Oregon each morning on Fox 12. Shauna started her vocation at KSTU-Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She’s always going to recall the second that as an intern, her news director asked if she should write. Her response was, “Yeah I can do that! “She started reporting while at the same time filling out the tabs as a substitute instructor. Upon completion of her entry-level job, she was authoritatively recruited as a reporter, which at that point sparked her vocation as an anchor at the end of the week before presenting the station’s first-morning broadcast.

Shauna spent the first 13 years in Portland anchoring the 10 O’Clock News with Wayne Garcia, before switching from late nights to early nights, solo anchoring the 5 and 6 O’Clock broadcasts. Eventually, Shauna returned to her roots in the morning and joined the Good Day Oregon party. She joins Kimberly Maus, Andy Carson, and Tony Martinez every morning from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Although transmitting news and vital data to her watchers is her main concern, Shauna’s favorite minutes on the set every day are the genuine minutes that consistently lead her to laugh with her family at work.
