Stephanie Ruhle is a renowned American Journalist currently working as a Senior Business correspondent for NBC News. She is also the co-anchor of MSNBC’s Velshi & Ruhle News program and MSNBC Live.

Before joining MSNBC, Stephanie worked as a managing director and news anchor for Bloomberg Television as well as the overall editor for Bloomberg News. Furthermore, Ruhle also co-hosted the Bloomberg Television show Bloomberg GO.

Her prowess in Television makes most people think that she started off her career on the screens. On the contrary, Stephanie spent 14 years working in the finance industry before joining television, Bloomberg.

While in College, Ruhle spent a whole summer as an intern for Merrill Lynch. In 1997, she started working with Credit Suisse where she served for six years. During her time at Credit Suisse First Boston, she worked as the vice president.

In 2012, she was among the three Bloomberg reporters who broke the story of the London Whale, the trader behind the 2012 JPMorgan Chase trading loss.

In 2015, she produced and hosted the program, Haiti: Open For Business?. This documentary explores Haiti’s emerging market five years after the country was struck by a devastating earthquake. She also featured in Shark Land: A mission Blue and Fusion Expedition. This brings to attention the fate of sharks in Cocos Island, a national park offshore of Costa Rica.
