Susanna Reid Biography
Susanna Reid is an award-winning English journalist and television presenter. Reid is popular for co-presenting the BBC Breakfast show from 2003 to 2014 and ITV’s morning show Good Morning Britain which has been on air since 2014. Born and raised in Croydon, London, England.
she went to Croham Hurst School, Croydon High School, and St Paul’s Girls’ School in London for her education. After graduating from high school, Reid joined Bristol University and studied politics, philosophy, and law. During her time there, Susanna worked as the editor of the student newspaper, Epigram. In 1991, the newspaper was short-listed as Best Student Newspaper in The Guardian/NUS student journalism awards. In addition, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Cardiff School of Journalism.
Susanna began her journalism career at BBC Radio Bristol as a news producer before moving to Radio 5 Live. Later on, she spent two years presenting on BBC News 24 before moving to the Breakfast sofa alongside Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt. She was often featured on the Andrew Marr Show and also appeared on Pointless, Ask Rhod Gilbert, and Through the Keyhole.
