Tatiana Yadira Suarez Padilla is an American professional mixed martial artist who is the winner of a two-time bronze medalist in the world championship. She is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). In 2023, Yadira won her last fight against Montana De La Rosa at UFC Vegas 70 via submission. She was also listed among the 10 UFC women’s strawweight rankings.
Suarez was born and brought up in Covina, California to a Mexican ancestry. She attended school at Northview High School where she graduated from before heading to Lindenwood University. A year later she dropped out of University in order to focus on her career. Tatiana began wrestling at the age of four as her older brother wrestled. In 2011, she was the No. 1 wrestler in the United States at 55 kg.
In the following years, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, while training for Summer Olympics 2012. Due to her illness, she had to stop training in order to get her radiation therapy.
